I am trying to import the e3d models into windows based element 3d 2.2.2 and I appear to get textures in the library but no visible model geometry. I can import the c4d model and see geometry but no textures are applied to the model. I really bought this to take full advantage of the native e3d configuration. Please advise.
Hi, This is a common issue for Element3D.
You don’t see the model, because Element3D could’t find model geometry file (obj). I want to send you screenshots for fixing issue. Please mail me.
Or Please try this steps while you’re in Element3D Scene Setup:
File >>> Relink Scene Files >>> Select Folder and find your downloaded 3d files
Thank you. That worked very well.
Hey! Which Enviroment did you used? can you say that? because the back n stuff is black of the phone because there is no enviroment info from you?
Hi, I use standart enviroments. But you need use lights from different angles for realistic rendering.
Hey UMURdesign, I just bought this, thanks very useful. I am only having an issue with back of the devices, they appear to be mostly black. Any idea how I can fix this? It sometimes shows right color but mostly don’t. Thanks https://prnt.sc/vuybek
Hi, I think there is no light for back of the device. Please create a light and move it to back of phone. If it doesn’t work, mail me and i will send you a render scene for AE
Hello – When we swap out the default screen image with our own custom layer, using the ‘Screen Blue’ dimensions of 1356×2560 the image is distorted – stretched. What should the ‘screen’ material dimensions be? Thanks
Hi, Sorry for issue. Please use “7:15” as aspect ratio.
I will update the models tomorrow
